Image Palette Extractor is a free online tool. Extract the dominant colors from an image into a palette.
After uploading the image, the tool analyzes the color distribution of all pixels in the image and uses a clustering algorithm (median segmentation or k-means) to extract the 4-10 colors with the highest frequency. Each color is displayed in the form of a color block, with HEX, RGB, HSL color values and percentage. Click on the color block to copy the color values.
Color extraction is completed locally in the browser, and clustering calculation is performed after reading all pixel data through Canvas. The algorithm combines similar colors to ensure that the colors in the swatch are clearly distinguishable. No files are uploaded.
Suitable for designers to extract color schemes from reference pictures or brand colors from brand photos. It is also used to verify the color richness and tone uniformity of the image.
