The page displays a virtual keyboard layout. Press any key on the physical keyboard, and the corresponding virtual key will be highlighted. You can detect whether each key triggers normally, whether there is a combo (one press triggers multiple times) or failure. Displays the keyCode, code, key value of the key, and the time stamp of the press/release.

Keyboard detection is based on keydown and keyup events, and identifies physical key positions through event.code (not affected by keyboard layout). It is possible to test the N-Key Rollover (NKRO) ability, that is, whether multiple keys can be correctly recognized when pressed at the same time. All done locally in the browser.

It is suitable for use when a newly purchased keyboard is inspected to detect whether there are bad keys. It is also used to check which keys fail after the keyboard is flooded, or to test whether the custom keyboard firmware is working properly.
