Asteroids is a free online game. Rotate, thrust and fire to blast asteroids that split into smaller rocks. Play instantly — no install, no waiting. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.
Your spacecraft is in the center of the screen. Use the left and right direction keys to rotate the bow direction, the up direction key to advance, and the space bar to fire bullets. Asteroids floated in randomly from the edge of the screen. After being hit by bullets, they split into 2-3 smaller asteroids, and the smallest one disappeared completely when hit.
The ship has inertia-it will continue to glide even if the button is released after propulsion. If you encounter an asteroid, you lose your life. Destroy all asteroids and enter the next level. The more the number, the faster the speed.
Tribute to the 1979 Atari classic game. The physics engine simulates inertial motion, and the spacecraft and astroids go out from one side of the screen and come in from the other side (surround effect). Draw vector-style graphics with Canvas.
